-PARTICULARITIES
Our school has got a domaine of 23 hectares which is used as a pedagogical support. The winery is being rebuilt to offer the sutdents a representative model of the professional reality. The students have got much work experience (training periods:16 weeks or apprenticeship).

Courses in pluridisciplinarity (two teachers for the same course mixing subjects: for example: chemistry and oenology)

-Some teaching is adapted to our region like wine geography, wine tourism….

Developing the involvement of apprenticeship masters in training. Developping assessment in a professionnal situation.

For adults training: – Offering training courses according to the expected contents

EMPLOYMENT IN VINE, WINE FIELD

Wine producers have difficulties to cover their labour needs, there is a lack of qualified candidates for the offered jobs. The workforce, which has been declining for 10 years, has stabilized at 414,000 employees per year, wtih a slight increase in the number of hours worked. It is difficult to fill the jobs of polyvalent vine/wine agent, tractor operator/driver, even if there are more and more candidates generally in conversion.
